A link to another article about GWF, and with a handful of new screenshots. And they're not the same ones as Gamespys ^_^

Forgive me if this was posted, I hadn't seen any topics about it other than the Gamespy one.

Oriental style in general is ugly. I hope the whole thing isn't like that, but that's my opinion.

In the corner of the dragon pic, there is a spirit. Maybe one of the Ritualist's summon spirits?

Those are Wailing Lords/Mragga if I'm not mistaken.

Thats what they look like to me.

Anyone want to guess at what three classes are being shown in the pic. One looks maybe like an assassin or mesmer, and the other two maybe necros or ritualists. Looks like all new armor that we haven't seen before, but from behind...so hard to tell...

There also seem to have another one where the IGN.com letters is covering. I assume that one was an elementalist due to the fire storm.

It looked like assasin, mesemer, ritualist to me.

I personally like the fact they went that way. You see tooooooooo many out there that are westeren/euro theme'd. This is a nice change. Also Asia, Eastern Asia, is one of the most beutiful places on earth. You need to get your eyes checked.

The dragon is obviously of higher quality than what poses as dragon in chapter 1. And that green thing in a mask looks like a ranger, bleh.

The artistic style is just fine for me. I sometimes find oriental style overly ornate, but I wouldn't really call it ugly. And i'd definately wait to see quite a few more screen shots before making any sort of final judgement. I can't wait to see what they do for the armor sets and what parts of it will take dye. (I'd also kill for a decent reflective silver or gold dye)

As to the rest of the stuff in this thread, Lay off it guys? Is that really what we're here to talk about?

I love the Oriental theme. Very beautiful, but that's just me. And I /dribbled a little over the dragon. Makes Glint look tiny by comparison.

Actually, I think it looks about the same size. It might be longer, but Glint was bulkier. That thing is also flying. Glint has a massive wingspan. If only we could see glint fly

it might be oriental..seeing the storyline is,

# Takes place in Cantha, an Asian-style area
# Plot--stop the 200-year murderer of an emperor from making trouble
# Shing Jea Monastery akin to Presearing in Chapter 1, a tutorial area

I like the Dragon, but god... I hate the Assassin. More scrawny looking than a Ranger o_o

Thank god I'm making a female Assassin...

I thought, at first, the Ritualist would look something similar to a midevil monk. I kept picturing them with long robes and a piece of cloth covering thier eyes (since they are blind or something to that sort).
After seeing what the armor looks like now and such, I cant wait to try it out for looks and what seems to be more interesting caster type of profession (IMO).
